Our counselors have established themselves as “alpha” and you will see this if you have a few moments to watch the interaction of the pets. Whether your pet attends Camp Animal Ark or Tiny Paws Playtime, he or she will be very tired at the end of the day. Only occasionally do we have problems with a dog not fitting in with the group, but we make every effort and try all our little tricks to get the dog to comply and settle in. It often takes several sessions before shy dogs feel comfortable with the group atmosphere. If for some reason your pet finds camp too stressful, or just can not fit into a group setting, we will certainly let you know.
The dogs enjoy playing in the pool and under the hose in the summer and get so excited to see snow in winter. There are special treat days each week and parties for parents and pooches are held at Halloween, Christmas and often times a luau in the summer.
