Camp Animal Ark is an exclusive Doggie Daycare built to accommodate an average of only 30 dogs a day so we can give your pet the attention you want and expect. Dogs of all size are welcome, however, at this time, most of the dogs attending are larger. We do offer Tiny Paws Playtime for the smaller dogs. In the Animal Ark tradition, your dog’s day at Camp will be clean, safe and fun filled. The cost per day of camp is $18.00 a day. We also offer half days (6 hours) for $12.00 per day. Discounted prepaid day packages are available. It is recommended that you sign up and pay ahead for the days you will be bringing your pet as we limit the number of campers we can have each day to 30 pets so we can give each and every pet the attention they deserve and you want them to have.
Hours for Camp Animal Ark:
Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
(Half day times are 7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. or 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.)
Saturday – 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Below is information to make your pet’s experience at camp successful:
~We accept drop offs for Camp Animal Ark from 7:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Pick-up time is between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. As the gates are locked in between these times, you need to let us know if you will be dropping off or picking up at a different time.
~All pets need to be up to date on all vaccinations – rabies, distemper/parvo (DHLPP), and, especially, bordatella. As this is a high-risk environment with a large group of dogs in a confined area, we highly recommend that Camp Animal Ark dogs get a bordatella vaccination every six months.
~All puppies should be spayed or neutered before they are seven months of age.
~All pets should be using a flea preventative such as Frontline, Comfortis, Advantage or Advantix and we need to see a receipt verifying you have purchased one of these products.
~Pets should also be taking a heartworm preventative.
~If you have to cancel your pet’s day at camp, we ask that you call by 8:00 a.m. so we can refill your space.
~If your dog should require medical attention while in our care, our customary procedure is to notify you first. If time does not allow this, we will contact your veterinarian for instructions or our on-call veterinarian and transport your dog for immediate care.
~Your pet will become a part of the pack and will make friends with other campers so it is important that your pet attend on a regular basis and we recommend at least once a week
so your pet isn’t the “new dog in the pack each time”. Your pet needs to attend at least twice a month to maintain his/her active status.
