CANINE DISTEMPER- A highly contagious viral disease that affects the respiratory and nervous system.

CANINE PARVOVIRUS- A contagious viral disease that causes.

CANINE RABIES- A fatal viral infection of the central nervous system that affects mammals, including humans. Rabies vaccinations are required by law in most states.

CANINE BORDETELLA- Like a common cold in humans, the organisms that cause canine cough are airborne. Your dog can catch this debilitating, persistent disease simply by being close to other infected dogs.

       Possible sources of infection include:
veterinary hospitals; boarding kennels; grooming salons; training facilities; dogs parks.

While not life threatening, the coughing, sneezing, and retching often accompanied by nasal discharge, usually last from a few days to several weeks. Bordetella vaccinations are usually annual shots, but in situations with frequent exposure to other dogs such as daycare, grooming or kenneling, it is often recommended that you have the vaccination done every 6 months.

WE RECOMMEND THAT VACCINATIONS BE GIVEN AT LEAST TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO CHECKING IN SO THE SHOTS HAVE TIME TO BECOME EFFECTIVE.
